Read about what we did in the month of April!
This month was a big one, with Easter taking centre stage. Our Easter celebrations began with a shared Passover meal with not only our NLC community but our friends from Immanuel Worship Centre as well. We shared a traditional passover meal and learned more about it, while also enjoying fellowship with one another. Our own Will Knott preached an amazing word on Good Friday, and we heard from Pastor Anthony and took Holy Communion on Easter Sunday. After both our Good Friday and Easter Sunday services, we had fellowship with one another as we shared hot cross buns. The kids even enjoyed an Easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday, because it's not Easter without kids running around hopped up on sugar! Throughout all of our Easter services, we were reminded that the Easter story is real and alive, and it was such a privilege to commemorate that story with one another.
If you celebrated Easter with us at any of our services, we are so happy you came. Thank you for choosing to spend such a special time with us. If you served at any of our Easter services, particularly those who took part in making the Passover meal happen, we are so incredibly thankful that you took time out of this busy season to serve God and your church. It is through our amazing volunteers that all our services happen, and God sees every one of you.
