What to Expect on a Sunday
Attending a new church can be daunting. We hope to answer some of your questions before you even step through our doors.
What's involved in a service?
New Life Church worship is an informal and modern interactive style of worship with band music, a life-related message, and coffee before and after the service. Being centred on God and His Word, our services are designed to inspire hope, faith and encouragement to our church family, new people and visitors.
Is there a dress code?
No - come as you are!
Do you have Holy Communion?
We take Holy Communion in the service once a fortnight, and we have gluten-free and alcohol-free options available.
Is there a kids program?
Yes! We offer a kids program for ages 3-12, where children are not only well cared for but also engaged in teaching activities that reflect the main message. All of our volunteers from kids church to tech desk have a current Working With Children's Check and have undergone LCA's Safe Church Training. We also have tables in our main auditorium and colouring materials available so families of all ages can enjoy the service together!
Do you take up offerings?
An offering is taken up during the service, but we don't expect visitors to contribute to this - that is for our members to contribute. We strongly encourage our members to give regularly, as the Bible says to give not out of obligation but out of joy and to see His kingdom grow (2 Corinthians 9:7).
Where can I park?
You can enter our car park from Daly Street.
