See what we did in July!
July was a great month in the life of our church! We concluded our series on Love, and began adopting the Strategic Plan now that it had been accepted by the congregation. This included creating a new Welcome to Church booklet for visitors, and changing designs and wording on some of our existing publications, including service orders.
On July 20th, we celebrated the baptism of an adorable little baby, and welcomed her and her parents into our church family. We feel so blessed that they chose us to mark this special occasion. If you or a loved one would like to take part in adult baptism or have your child baptized, please contact Pastor Anthony Price or the church office.
July also held some special events. On the 26th of July, we held our Women's Retreat, a day where the women of our community had an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle and spend some time intentionally connecting with the Holy Spirit and one another. A huge thank you to Joanne Chamberlain, who organised the event, and Tracey Woidt, our guest speaker. The event was a huge success, and we hope to host many more!
On the evening of July 26th, we also hosted a Showdown party at New Life Church, where we got together and watched the big Crows versus Port game together, enjoying some friendly rivalry.
We sincerely enjoyed church this month and we hope you did too!
